Learning to sing can change your life forever. We know that anyone can learn to sing. All you need is the desire to learn and great teacher who understands and supports your needs and goals. 

We have voice lessons for children, teenagers and adults. We teach all levels. Beginners are welcome! Don't even think about being nervous, just go for it. Voice lessons are fun. Students have many different options.

Once you learn the basics you can learn to sing the style of music that interests you. Students can choose from many styles of music:

• Pop - Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Christina Aguilera, etc
• Musical Theatre - High School Musical, Wicked & Broadway Favorites!
• Rock - From 1950 to 2010, the choice is yours!
• Jazz - Billie Holiday & beyond
• Classical - Opera & Choral Music styles
• Country - Artists like Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney

The Academy of Music and Art also offers a unique combination of voice and piano in a private lesson format.

Learn to sing songs while playing the piano!

The combination works! Students are motivated and happy because they are playing their favorite songs. Parents are happy because their children like to practice.

Each student learns at their own pace and has a unique lesson plan based on their needs and goals. Every student is different but lessons teach all the basics and may include the following:

Voice Lessons:
· How to sing in tune
· Vocal basics like breath control, tone & placement
· Developing your range & improving your sound

Piano lesson:
· How to Read Music (It’s not that hard!)
· How to play chords and scale
· Basic piano technique

Students have the option of performing songs in our recitals. (The recitals are fun and low pressure. We encourage you try!)
