About the Academy of Music and ArtThe Academy of Music and Art is a family-owned performing arts school proudly serving Westmont and surrounding communities since 1990. For over three decades, we have helped children, teens, and adults discover confidence, creativity, and joy through music, dance, and art education.

Founded by Chris Wilson as the Chris Wilson Guitar Studio, the Academy began in a small apartment and has grown into a vibrant, multi-disciplinary arts school trusted by generations of local families. Today, we continue that tradition with a warm, welcoming environment where students of all experience levels can thrive.


Music, Dance, and Art Lessons for Kids and FamiliesWe specialize in beginner-friendly instruction with a strong focus on children and teens, while also welcoming adult students.
