Preschool dance classes involve lots of imagination and games to keep the interest and attention of young students. Children use large motor skill movements such as jumping, skipping and hopping, and are made aware of music and rhythm. Exercises for building physical strength and coordination are offered in a fun and nurturing atmosphere. No dance experience needed.
Mommy and Me - (age 2) - Mommy and Me is a creative movement class that introduces toddlers to dance at a very basic level. The teacher helps students discover movement, balance, and listening skills in a way that is easy and fun.
Little Ballet™ - (ages 3 to 4) - Students learn the fundamentals of Ballet at a very elementary level. Basic technique and combinations will be taught, creating a solid foundation for all forms of dance. By the end of the year the students will memorize simple exercises and sequences, and learn vocabulary that will prepare them for classes taken in the years to come. Your child will also enjoy Little Voices music class.
Little Hip Hop: A class built to learn the basics of counting music, rhythm and sequences of steps. Dancers will enjoy exploring their own personal expression to the latest age-appropriate music while having fun with friends!
Little Tap: Sound off! This class is a blast for those looking to make some noise. Dancers will learn patterns, control and coordination through this unique style of dance. Building musicality and skill will never be more fun!
