Free Practice Time for All Music Students!​
All music students are welcome to use The Academy of 
Music and Art's private lesson rooms for free practice time.

Practice is essential for improvement. But, the quality of your practice time is more important than the amount of practice time.

Quality practice time involves two things:

• Focus  
• Repetition

Focusing is the hardest part. It's not easy to find quiet time for practice. There is always something going on.  Distractions can waste valuable practice time.  Each interruption can make even the simplest exercise drag on, making practice time long and boring. 

If you need somewhere to practice your instrument, away from distractions, this is the place.  You'll be surprised how much you can accomplish in a focused 15 minute practice session. 
 
You'll be more focused because:

• You are in learning mode; this is where you take lessons. 
• No distractions - no TV or computer to distract you.
• No interruptions - no siblings or pets to play with. (Or fight with!)
• You're not bothering neighbors, by practicing the drums.
• You can practice Saturday morning and not wake anyone up!
• Students have full use of our pianos, guitars and the drum set. 
• Rooms are available by reservation only. 
• Please call for availability. 
• Practice time is for registered students only.
• Don't forget to turn your cell phone off, no texting!​​
